The sleeve, supplied as a continuous web with printed graphics, is unrolled from the reel through rollers and directed onto a forming tube, which opens and readies the sleeve for cutting. A rotating blade system precisely cuts the sleeve to the required length, positioning it onto the product as a label. The labeled product then moves into a steam or optional electric shrinking tunnel, where the sleeve shrinks to fit perfectly around the container’s contours.
